After categorizing chapters of each subject, we have differentiated topics as per their difficulty levels and they are classified as easy, moderate or difficult, for the aspiring candidates. Let us discuss them.

 

Topics with Easy Level  

  1. Simplification–The students should practice problems based on Simplification Techniques like BODMAS Rule, Fractions, Surds and Indices, Square roots, etc.
  2. Percentage–The questions are frequently asked from this chapter and students should be able to calculate the percentage of a given number mentally, without using pen and paper.
  3. Average–The students should have knowledge of basics and fast calculation to solve questions on Averages.
  4. Ratio and Proportion–The students should practice problems which are of basic and advanced level.

  2. Profit and Loss–The students should learn and understand basic formulas and concepts of Discount and Partnership form and try to practice them hard to perfection.
  3. Simple Interest and Compound Interest–The students should learn the formulae of both Simple Interest and Compound Interest and practice problems based on it.
  4. Time and Work–The students should focus hard on basic concepts of Time & Work, Pipes & Cistern and Work & Efficiency.
  5. Mixture & Alligation– The questions from this topic are frequently asked in combination with basic concepts of Ratio and Proportion.
  6. Data Interpretation–In these types of questions, concept of Ratio & Proportion and Percentages are used. The questions come in the form of Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Tables, etc.

Topics with Difficult Level -                                                                              

  1. Algebra–The questions are based on the concepts of Linear Equations in one or two variables.
  2. Geometry– The students should try to remember all the theorems and solve problems related to triangle congruency, circle, chords & tangent, etc.
  3. Mensuration–The students should try to remember formulae of Square, Rectangle, Circle, Cone, Cylinder, etc.
  4. Trigonometry–The students should try to remember all the Trigonometric Identities and formulas to solve the questions.
